The R-Class Strainer: Shown in chrome finish

DUNNETT R-CLASS SNARE THROWOFF NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2006 MODEL SNARE DRUMS

San Francisco Drum Company is now offering the Dunnett R-Class snare throwoffs as the standard component on all snare drum models starting in 2006. The new snare strainer features a smooth piston-action operation and is constructed of durable metal components.
A notable new advantage of the new R-Class mechanism is the adjustable handle, which allows the user to adjust the handle position by 180°.

"As a left-handed drummer who plays in a ‘right-handed world’, I truly appreciate the 180° rotation adjustment of the handle - it truly allows for you to choose the direction of lever-action you want, from either side of the drum”, says Garry Williams of San Francisco Drum Co. "This new component offers our musicians complete operational flexibility.”

The R-Class strainer is available in chrome as the standard component on instruments. Optional custom-order finishes include gold and black chrome finishes. Existing owners of older S.F. Drum Co. Instruments will be able to upgrade to the R-Class without any additional modifications to the shell. Owners who wish to upgrade to the R-Class strainer can contact San Francisco Drum Co. for additional upgrade information.
