SAN FRANCISCO DRUM COMPANY ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY OF CANISTER THRONES

San Francisco Drum Company announces the availability of vintage-style canister thrones, offering the musician both the classic on-stage styling associated with the great swing drummers of yesteryear and the added convenience of built-in storage.

The canister throne enables the drummer to sit at a comfortable height when playing large diameter bass drums. A heavy-duty amplifier cabinet handle allows the musician to comfortably carry the canister when fully loaded, enabling it to function double duty as a hardware or traps case. Customers have a variety of wraps to choose from, including pearls, sparkles, glass glitters, and other vintage style wraps. Canister seat cushions can be ordered with a tall or medium seat cushion height, which provides a sitting height of 25" or 23.5", respectively.

“The taller sitting height of these thrones helps to create a strong visual presence on stage, such as swing drummers who utilize traditional showmanship in their live performance. Drummers using flat base hardware will appreciate the retro styling and the added convenience of using the throne as a hardware or traps case, ” Said Garry Williams of San Francisco Drum Co.

The list price for the cannister throne is $750 and is available 30-60 days after order.
